Yvonne and I visited and served at the Satchidananda Ashram in Yogaville, Va., for eight wonderful days. As last year, I went through a day or so of transformation … getting used to things. I worked on the Farm with the amazing Cory Hundson (and loved every second of it!), and helped plant over 2,500 seedlings, among other things. Here is the first post of my sketchbook. We were truly, truly blessed during our time there (Y’s third visit, my second).

When I'm not drawing you might find me in the garden, turning my worm or hot composts, inspecting my hives, Om-ing on the yoga mat, snapping a few Polaroids with my vintage camera ... or just daydreaming about mysterious things that go bump in the night and the magic of the simple things in life. I am happily married to yoga instructor Yvonne Brown. We have a cat, Tabla, and crazy scruff-muffin border terrier named Olive.
