Soft ‘n loose
Feeling my sable brushes. Used a 7B super soft pencil on a well-toothed paper to pencil, then inked with a #2 Kholinsky for Gepetto and my Kuretake #40 for Lois. Love the feelin’ and groove I’m gettin’ with both the pencil and the brushes. I feel like I’m cheating on my nibs, though! I’m sure [...]

Tom is a self-published cartoonist and artist/writer of Circle City Tales. He is a proud member of Comicopia and Sketch Charlotte, and also works as a fashion retail art director in Charlotte, NC. When not drawing you might find Tom on the yoga mat, vegetable gardening, drinking a cold one, or snapping a few Polaroids with his vintage camera ... or just daydreaming about mysterious things that go bump in the night. He is married to yoga instructor Yvonne Brown, and they have two cats, Tabla and Maizie, who actually own the house they live in.
